We purchase all grades of copper and aluminium cables on a regular basis, paying top market prices. Cable is processed using stripping machines or a granulating system.
Cable Granulation
Having purchased a granulation system in 2008, which has enabled the business to move more into the cable recycling market. We are able to pay premium prices for a variety of cables, including household cable, armoured cable, multi core, low grade, lead covered and much more.
Cable is fed into the granulation system, where the material is cut using rotating blades and pushed through a grill in the form of granules, consisting of copper and waste. The material is drawn on to a table, where air separates the copper and waste. The result is over 99% of copper is recycled using this process. Plastic granules are put into bulk bags and used in the equestrian industry or recycled.

Cable Stripping
All grades of copper and aluminium cables are purchased and recycled either by process of granulation or stripping. The stripping of cable is done in house, using machines able to process a variety of cables of any diameter or length.
